HOME AT LAST!

Madeline drug her book bag behind her as she and her Mom walked toward the parking lot. BUMP! BUMP! BUMP! The bag bounced along the sidewalk. "OUCH! OWEE! OH! OUCH! OWEE! OUCH! That hurts!" Oscar mumbled.

OH NO! I MISSED THE BUS!

Oscar was having so much fun learning at school that he really hadn't noticed that it was almost time to go. "OK guys...time to pack up your book bags." said Mrs. J.
"But I don't want to goooooooo!" Oscar whined.

Science ROCKS!

After recess, it was time for science. "OK class time for science!" announced Mrs. J. Before Mrs. J said anymore,Oscar said excitedly..."LOOK WHAT I FOUND! IT'S A ROCK WITH A PICTURE OF A FROG! IT'S CALLED AN OSCAROCK!"

"I LOVE RECESS!"

After lunch, it was time for recess. "RECESS! OH BOY RECESS! I LOVE RECESS!" Oscar shouted...then he realized he didn't know what recess really was! "Psst....Hey! What is recess?" He whispered to the little boy in front of him.

Maaaaasssshhhhed Potatoes!

"I'm huuuuunnngry!" whined Oscar. "Are we EVER going to eat?" Just when Oscar was thinking that he was never going to get to eat Mrs. J said, "Line up! It's time for lunch." Some of the kids ran to their cubbies to get their lunch boxes and other grabbed their lunch tags. Oscar ran to the line. He was jumping up and down and his tail was wagging like crazy! He had never eaten in a school cafeteria before.

An Artrageous MESS!

"Today class we are going to paint with sponges." said Mrs. S as she handed out paper, different shaped sponges and paint trays to each of the art tables. Oscar's eyes got really big when he saw all the wonderful different colors of paint and all the different shapes of sponges. He was really really excited. So excited that he started to dance around the room! Then he started to sing!

Oscar Loves Math!

One day Oscar decided to sneak to school with Madeline. He wanted to see what school was all about and why Madeline had to go almost every day! He waited and listened until he heard the garage door close. Then he knew that Mom and Madeline were finally gone. He ran upstairs to his box of disguises. "Mmmm. What should I wear for my first day at school?"
