YIKES! Almost Caught!

HE SAW MADELINE! and right behind her was Mom and Dad! "YIKES!" He yelled and dove under the table. He waited until his family had walked by and the crept out from under the table. He raced toward the door on all four legs...the customers were really surprised to see that! "HEY! Where are you going?" Yelled Jake.
Just as Oscar ran out the door Madeline looked his way. "That man looks familiar." Madeline said to herself. Mom and Dad were so busy trying to choose food that they didn't even notice all the commotion.
Oscar ran all the way home. He hurried into the house and took off his costume and hid it under the bed. Then he hurried back downstairs and dove under the coffee table. A few minutes later his family walked in with their bags of food. WHEW! Oscar thought that was close!
