Oscar waited and waited for his family to leave so that he could leave for his own adventure in the park. "WHOOOOOWHOOOOOO!" Oscar howled when he heard the garage door close. He was so excited! Today was going to be a special day. There was going to be a big festival in the park. There was going to be games, animals, and bouncy inflatables. There was even going to be FOOD!
He dressed himself as a little boy. He wore a green shirt because it was his favorite color. It reminded him of grass. He then put on a pair of blue jeans and shoes. He then filled a back pack with money for treats, games and rides. He also put in a water bottle and a big bag of dog treats just in case. He called a cab and then went outside to wait.
Oscar was mumbling to himself..."What is taking so long! Why can't the cab be here already! I want to go the park!" He was almost in tears! It seemed like the cab was never going to come. It finally got there and Oscar grabbed his back pack and hopped into the cab. Take me to the "WOOF!" "What?" Asked the driver. "OOPS! I mean the park!" Oscar said in a embarrassed voice. He was just so excited.
When they got to the park he payed the driver and leaped out the cab. Then he ran on all fours across the bridge toward the festival. Just as he got across the bridge he saw...
"HORSES! OH BOY! OH BOY! I WANT TO RIDE! I WANT TO WHOOOOOOOWHOOOOOO!" He took off running on all fours toward the lady who was with the horses. "CAN I RIDE? CAN I RIDE? PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEEEEEAAAAAASSSSE!" He begged. "Mommy....Mommy! Look at that silly boy with the fluffy tail." The little boy was trying to tell his mom. "SSHHH! Don't say stuff like that..little boys don't have fluffy tales Jacsen!" Mom shushed the little boy. Oscar was being so loud that people were starting to stare and talk!
"OK. OK. Settle down. Let's get you a helmet." Horse lady said. Oscar had never wore a helmet before. At first he wasn't sure where it was supposed to go. At first he sat in it...then he tried to find four more and wear them like shoes. Finally the lady walked back over to help him put in on his head. "OOOOWWWWEEEE!" he whined just a little because it squished his ears!
The lady boosted him up and he was FINALLY on a real horse! He was so excited that he yelled "Giddy up boy!" He held tight to the reins and the horse took of running. "AAAAAAHHHHHHHH! HEEEELLLLP! WHOOOAAA BOY!" Oscar was in trouble already! The horse lady ran after him as fast as she could...she finally caught him. He was safe but he wasn't allowed to ride anymore horses!
