A Very Exciting Ad

It was the day after his exhausting magic show adventure and Oscar was lying on the floor resting.  Yawning he glanced up at Dad who was reading the paper. Oscar noticed a giant ad on the back cover. It nearly took up the whole page!  There was a huge picture of a building with a sign on it. In bright colored letters the sign read
 "Now hiring at Franny's Grannies!"  Oscar immediately leapt up and began running circles around the living room. "What in the world has got into that dog!" Dad muttered. Oscar calmed himself down and began planning his next adventure.
 "I can be a Granny! I know what to do I've watched Grandma do it thousands of times!! I can spoil children...I love children...OH BOY! I CAN'T WAIT!" "Huh? Madeline did you say something?" SMACK! Oscar slapped his paw over his mouth...he was so excited that he forgot Dad was home!!
The next day Oscar lay in his usual spot listening carefully for the bang of the garage door closing. He was waiting for Mom and Madeline
to leave so he could go to Franny's Grannies and apply for the job. As soon as Oscar heard the garage door open and close he sprang up and ran to Madeline's room to find a disguise.
 "Hmmm..... what should I wear today? Oscar thought.  I am going to be a Granny, so I need a big gray wig, a pair of fake glasses, a purple dress, and of course! shoes. Oscar quickly put on his disguise and trotted off toward the phone.  "Can you please send a cab to ...." Oscar told the man on the other end of the line. After hanging up he rushed to the porch to wait.
